Delete Your Account

Last updated: August 6, 2026

This page explains how to delete your account for Tend (com.malekdoss.tend), what gets deleted, and what is kept. You can delete your account yourself inside the app, or email us and we'll do it for you. You don't need to have the app installed to ask.

Delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Open Tend and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  3. Tap it a second time to confirm. If you saved your account with Apple, Google, or a password, you'll be asked to sign in once more first, which is your device confirming it's really you.

Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

Or ask us to delete it

Email 1999.aldoss@gmail.com from the address on your account, or tell us the display name and the partner you were paired with, and we'll delete it for you. We'll confirm when it's done, and we respond within 30 days.

What gets deleted

What is kept, and for how long

Your couple's shared history, the days you both logged, gratitudes, moments, flags, timeline entries, and past recaps, stays on the ended couple record and remains visible to your partner. It belongs to both of you, and we don't erase one person's half of a shared memory without the other knowing.

If you want that shared record erased too, email 1999.aldoss@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

Diagnostic data such as crash reports is kept for a limited period, typically around 90 days, and is then deleted automatically. We may also keep the minimum records we're legally required to keep, such as purchase and tax records.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a Tend subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the App Store, so cancel yours there. See our Terms of Service for the steps.
